The One Mansion in Xi'an is a design project that draws its inspiration from the thousand-year-old capital of Chang'an, a city that embodies the breadth and wisdom of Chinese civilization. Chang'an, the starting point of the Silk Road, represents a microcosm of China's fertile cultural soil that has thrived for five millennia. As the ancient city stands at the cusp of a new era, it moves forward with the pace of time, serving as a powerful muse for this design project.

What sets The One Mansion apart is its deep-rooted connection to local culture and history. The designers have left traces of time in the space, creating an atmosphere that is both contemporary and timeless. The concept of "wei-cheng," proposed by the designers, is a reflection of the ancient understanding of heaven and earth as round entities.
